Direction Igor Mikhailevskiy - founder and conductor of the Crimean Chamber Choir. Igor Mikhailevskiy founded the choir in 1994. But the idea for this creation was born several years earlier. The former student of the famous professor P. Gorokhov of the Donetsk State Prokofiev Conservatory created this choir, whose musical colour and style distinguish it from many others. His magical charisma, excellent musical knowledge and great sensitivity have produced a convincing result. In the 28 years of its existence, the choir has performed unique programmes of choral music, including works banned during the Soviet period, some of which have never been performed in the Crimea before. Over the past twenty years, the Crimean Choir and its founder and conductor have given more than 2000 concerts in many European countries. Its unique skills in music and choral technique have brought the Crimean Choir to one of the highest levels in Europe.
